To help with submitting to How’To and to help make the process smoother for the editors, we have introduced a new set of rules on how you submit an article to “How-To’s”.

Please make sure you read this article before submitting a draft to us.

Submission rules:

  1. Articles will be accepted in a draft format only
  2. All must be formatted appropriately
  3. All must adhere to the Medium curation guidelines. This includes linking sources, crediting photographs, and using titles and subtitles correctly
  4. You must use a picture and a heading in your article
  5. Allow up to 48 hours for your article to get published
  6. All submissions must be spelling and grammar-checked and completely free of plagiarism. (use Grammarly for Chrome)
  7. We publish any How-To/Tutorial in nearly every topic but exclude anything relating to graphic sex, pornography, erotica, violence, and any political leanings.
  8. We are here to provide How-Tos to anyone helping them to grow their skills and therefore wish to encourage you to consider how your content comes across. How valuable is it for the audience and is the purpose, message, or audience experience clear?
