This has lead to an increased demand for private schools. Hence, presently, private schools in India are at the boom stage of the business cycle.
The Gurukul Valley School is run on 3 major design methodologies;
- Bloom’s Taxonomy: It is a classification of different objectives, that the educators set for the students, and are divided into 3 main domains,
a. Cognitive — the knowing/ head.
b. Affective — feeling/ heart.
c. Psychomotor — doing/ hands.
2. Teaching for Understanding: An in-depth framework of learning, which provides the teachers/ educators with a language and structure for planning their curriculum in such a manner so that the students are able to grasp a concept easily and reproduce is in any form possible.
3. Multiple Intelligence theory & Creative Classroom: This theory suggests that the teachers be trained to present their lesson in a wide variety of ways using music , co-operative learning, art activities, role play, multimedia, field trips, etc.

Another reason for a high amount of Private schools opening up is because, the legal issues to start a school is not very difficult.
- The Shops & Establishment Act is not for play schools.
- Service schools can only be run in the name of a non-profit organization.
- The schools can run on an in-house curriculum as they do not need an affiliation from any of the broads, whether it is state, national or international.
