Since figure skating is a very complicated sport in all around the world the most important issue for skaters is practising. According to the trends in figure skating industry, there is not any innovation is going on for on ice trainings but Limitless the new manufacturing company is bringing high quality blades for competitive and olympic figure skaters, which measures balance points and edge usage according to the each element by using strain gauge sensors on heel and toe plate of the blade and visualises them on a combined application.

How to achieve?

The stainless steel blade manufacturing value chain is remaining same, which is hardening the steel, framing for right angle and sharpening

But once the steels are framed for right angle, aluminium blade holders are placing on top of the stainless steels blades for making them 50% lighter.

After the steels became lighter the strain gauge sensors are combining with the toe and the heel plate of the blade without increasing the weight.

The measured data during the on ice practising is sent directly to the combined application for demanded feedbacks by bluetooth transmitter and visualisation of balance points and edge usage is shown on the application.
