5 Easy, No-Nonsense Ways to Optimize Your Day for Success
You don’t have to be a Type A personality to thrive on a daily basis.

How are you supposed to make the most of your day if you aren’t a morning person?
That was a question I used to ask myself often. I’d read stories about the importance of maximizing your mornings or see videos from digital influencers dissecting their intense morning routines.
All of this never failed to discourage me. Despite their words and testimonials, I had no desire to wake up at ungodly hours just to jumpstart my day.
Fast forward several years, and I now proudly consider myself a morning person.
In hindsight, I’ve realized you don’t need to be a morning person to make the most of your day — you just need to get the ball rolling whenever you do get out of bed.
Here are five simple ways to jumpstart your day, regardless of what time you get up.
Getting sunlight into your eyes

You might’ve recently read or heard about the importance of getting sunlight into your eyes.
If you haven’t, I’ll be brief. It’s a concept I came across presented by the super popular neuroscientist Andrew Huberman — also the person responsible for the recent craze surrounding this topic.
In a nutshell, Huberman stated that getting sunlight into your eyes after you wake up helps regulate your circadian rhythm, which is in charge of things like when you wake up and go to sleep.
Once your eyes are exposed to natural light from the Sun, an internal timer of sorts is set so, roughly 16 hours later, your body starts to wind down, prepping you for sleep.
A skeptical insomniac, I didn’t believe this simple hack would work. I’d tried almost everything to improve my sleep quality to no avail.
I’ve been doing this for a little over a month now. I’ll be the first to tell you it really works. It never fails to amaze me how drowsy I become somewhere between 9–10pm every night.
