“I still believe in heroes,” Why? You may ask.

In this dynamic world, all we have are the changes we make by raising awareness and funds or revolutionising crowdfunding. Team Ketto has made sure that we use the internet for good.

Even during this pandemic, our leaders have consistently worked on boosting performance and bringing a change, “Whatever it takes.”

Take a moment to get acquainted with Ketto’s Avengers and learn about their journeys.

“Avengers, assemble!”

Akshay Bharadwaj, AVP- Business Development

Akshay Bharadwaj,

I think being a Ketto Avenger is not just a responsibility but also a privilege. Every day I wake up, I’m inspired by a sense of power to make a difference in the world, no matter how small my contribution may be in it.

You see, when I kicked off my career as an Engineering Counsellor, I never imagined myself in a position where I could both grow and evolve personally while also helping others. When I joined Ketto as an intern 5.5 years ago, you could see the determination on my face to do something good for society. Years have passed, and I’m still the same determined guy I was back then, even as the AVP and leader of a 50-person team. When you know you’re helping make someone’s day a little brighter, it’s the biggest motivation of all. That, and of course, my team!

I enjoy my job and its responsibilities, but my team gives me the morale to keep doing what I do. They always have my back, and I admire them for it. I recall an ex-employee on my team writing me a long, heartfelt note on her last day at work, and it indeed left a significant impact on my life.

Working with thousands of NGOs and other people trying to make a difference in their communities has taught me a lot. Ketto has also taught me how to listen and empathise. You can’t do what we do every day unless you truly understand what the people you’re helping are going through.

Being a Ketto Avenger has played a significant role in my professional and personal growth. In a nutshell, I’d use the word “rewarding” to describe my time at Ketto, and I wouldn’t change it for the world!

Neha Chauhan, VP- Finance

Neha Chauhan,

If years ago you asked me where I see myself in the future, I doubt I would have said working at a crowdfunding platform! This was a foreign concept to me at the time, but I’m now a proud member of the Ketto family, and I know this is my second home. Ketto Avenger might sound like a fancy term to you, but for us, it really only means to keep doing what we do and strive to make the world a better place. It gives me great joy to say out loud that yes, my work is making a difference in the world, and I think that, for me, is the epitome of a good workplace.

When I first started, I was just a learner. Today, I’m a learner and a leader. Being the VP of Finance is definitely an example of how far I have come, but it is also a reminder for me to never stop learning and growing. Thankfully, I have my team by my side, who have become my most significant source of knowledge because everyone is highly talented and possess excellent skills and experience.

At work, I am constantly confronted with new challenges, which keeps me motivated and alert. I’m always being encouraged to learn something new and find something innovative at Ketto. That has greatly helped me grow and become what I am today. I love being a part of the Ketto family because I know that my work will continue to fascinate and excite me with all the new opportunities it keeps presenting, no matter how many years go by.

Sudeesh Rajeevan, AVP- Technology

Sudeesh Rajeevan,

When I finished my B.Sc. in Computer Science, I started my career as a Customer service representative. I didn’t know if that was the path I wanted. However, when I joined Ketto, I knew I’d found my calling. Back when I started, I was a PHP developer and worked with only three other people. Today, we are a big team in which all of us are divided into multiple agile pods for better work results.

Looking back, I didn’t realise my full potential until I joined Ketto and was revealed to all the great things the world has to offer. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to lead multiple pods here at Ketto and learn and implement Agile. I’ve also learned and worked on different technologies and worked with and led a team of talented individuals. I’ve definitely come a long way, not just in terms of my career growth but even as a person.

Ketto has been such a great workplace; it really is rewarding to be a part of it. I have seen a culture of rewards and appreciation here. Everyone loves a little boost here and there, and that’s precisely what Ketto does. It appreciates its members for their achievements, no matter how small.

Rohit Chinchanikar, AVP- Healthcare

Rohit Chinchanikar,

My journey with Ketto has been like no other. These 5 years have been life-changing for me. I started as a young Executive. Today, I’m a proud AVP, managing the PAN India Team of Medical Social Workers and maintaining client relationships of more than 150 hospitals spread across 25 cities while continuing to grow.

All my years at Ketto have taught me an important life lesson- communication is everything. The work culture here is so nurturing where everyone is continuously encouraged to work as a team. It’s not just a workplace but a second home. My team and I have excellent communication, which I believe is one of the reasons we can work together so well and produce good results. My team put in long hours and did fieldwork even during the pandemic because they were determined to help the underprivileged by raising funds for their medical treatment. Now that speaks volumes! My team makes my heart burst with pride because this is what Ketto is all about. Regardless of the time or circumstance, everyone here strives to make the world a better place.

I’d never considered a career in social work before joining Ketto, but it’s opened up a whole new world of opportunities for me to help others. The greatest joy I experience is when patients recover from their illnesses and send us messages and videos thanking Team Ketto for keeping them or their children alive today.

Ketto has been a constant source of growth for me. I had the chance to meet and interact with people in high places. I added to my team size and expanded the scale of operations, increased the size of my team and increased the scope of my operations. I’ve had the opportunity to represent Ketto at seminars held at IITs, IIMs, and other prestigious institutions. All of this has brought out the best in me, and I’m excited to see what the future holds.

Shivam Porwal, AVP — Digital Marketing

Shivam Porwal,

My career began as a Digital Marketing intern at a firm, eager to learn and grasp anything that came my way. Fast forward 6 years, when I see the young employees in my team beaming with determination, it makes me nostalgic. I think learning is a massive part of any person’s success, and ever since I joined Ketto, I’ve been a learner. Even today, when I’m managing a team of 30+ people, I’m learning. My fantastic team is my greatest source of knowledge. Their unwavering commitment to achieving excellent results inspires me to be the best version of myself.

I see Ketto as more than just a workplace. It’s a place where people who want to make a difference in the world get together and work hard to achieve that objective. Ketto’s culture is so nurturing that it will embrace you into its family and promote your progress no matter what. As for me, I started as a manager, and today I’m the AVP! It’s been a long road to come where I am today, but it’s never been uninteresting because I get to work with such talented people.

If I were to tell you what I think is the highlight of working at Ketto, it’d be that you can be yourself. You are free to express your full potential here, and everyone will cheer you on with love and patience. One of the many things we celebrate as an organisation is diversity. You’ll find engineers in our marketing & sales team, finance majors in our operations team, and even medical professionals and sociologists in the content team. In short, who you are matters way more than where you’re from. You just need to have a fire raging in your belly, ready to perform any task you might come across!

Saksham Kalra, AVP- Product & Growth

Saksham Kalra,

As the Assistant VP, I am intimately familiar with Ketto. I can divulge all of the reasons why everyone who works here enjoys it. Don’t worry, it’s not a cult! But a breeding ground of the most amazing people who come together and somehow get even better at what they do.

Everyone played a pivotal role in helping me settle and for the team to find the right synergies to work. When someone externally joins an already stable team, they bring along their own ideas to enhance team performance. However, those ideas are only as good as the team who would like to buy into another person’s thoughts and execute them. So in that regard, I felt I got lucky to get the right resources to work with. Personally, I have learnt a lot from my peers here at Ketto. The fun part is that a lot of them are either young or young at heart and so full of life and ideas. It is always fun to spark a new conversation and just observe other people’s outlook towards those.

While people management and typical product management were something that I have been doing for a while, Ketto provided me with an opportunity to wear multiple hats simultaneously. I have found myself engaging, sometimes leading a lot of business & marketing activities. With a good chunk of healthcare experience under my belt, I was already a specialist. Working with Ketto & having great mentors like Zaheer & Varun, I felt confident to step in other areas, thereby finding my generalist spirit.

Kumar Vishal, Sr. Manager- Social Media

Kumar Vishal,

Ever since my career started, I’ve always wanted to explore my love for creativity. I was a Website Developer previously, I then transitioned into Social Media. However, it wasn’t until I joined Ketto that I was finally able to expand my knowledge in this field. Ketto helped me recognise and broaden my interests, such as reading, researching, and trying new things. And now, I don my ‘creative cap’ with pride!

When we talk about expanding my knowledge at Ketto, a lot of credit goes to my team. Working with them has been particularly valuable to me, not only professionally but also personally. We have such a strong bond and communicate so well that we can consistently achieve positive results together.

In addition to managing Ketto’s social media content, I’ve learned a lot about the business side of things. I have become quite adept at video production. I’ve always wanted to do my part to help those in need and add value to the world, so I’m thrilled to be a part of an organisation that is passionate about healthcare affordability! What’s more, the entire Team Ketto shares virtues similar to mine, motivating us all to collaborate and strive to achieve our unanimous goal of making the world a better place. I have found a second home here at Ketto, and I cannot imagine it any other way around.

As Captain America once said, “I can do this all day,” our Ketto Avengers have toiled to make the world a better place besides being the organisation’s backbone. It wouldn’t be wrong to say “These guys come from legend, Captain.”
