S1 E2: Believe in the Basics
Neel shifted to Mumbai to join a start-up as the Head of HR. He prepared for his first meeting with his Managing Director, Sid. He wanted to understand Sid’s expectations so that he could prepare the HR agenda for the start-up. He anticipated that Sid would tell him at least ten major priorities. However, Sid told him just one.
Sid asked him to ensure that whatever they commit to their employees in the offer letter must be honored. If the basics are taken care of, Sid will be more than happy. Neel asked Sid to elaborate his definition of basics. Sid replied, basics mean that people should get salary by 31st of every month.
