S1 E4: Anybody There?
Monday, Neel took a taxi to his office. All the while he was thinking about the company and the registrations he needed to check. Sid had told him that there are around 50 people working with the company. He saw the address on the website, which meant that the basics would be in place. To be on the safer side, Neel started preparing a checklist. He thought about the various laws involved and finally compiled his checklist for HR Statutory Registrations.
1. Shops and Establishment
2. Employee Provident Fund
3. Employee State Insurance Company
4. Professional Tax Registration
After reaching the IT park Neel called Sid. His phone was not reachable. Neel reached the office address. It looked like a shop with a see-through shutter. Neel said to himself that most start-ups start from a garage. This is still better off than that.
Neel knocked on the shutter and said “Anybody there?”
