Faculty Spotlight: Dr. Jordan Taylor

In this ongoing series in Spring 2024, we will be highlighting faculty members in the Department of Health, Sport and Exercise Sciences at the University of Kansas.

Dr. Jordan Taylor is Associate Teaching Professor and the Undergraduate Exercise Science Program Director at the University of Kansas. He has been a part of the faculty since 2015. His teaching load includes the courses of Exercise Biochemistry, Neuromuscular Exercise Physiology and Motor Control, Health and Pathophysiology, Kinesiology, Principles in Personal Training, Clinical Exercise Physiology, and Medical Terminology. Dr. Taylor’s research interests include investigating the neuroprotective effects of exercise prior to and after TBI. He is also interested in studying exercise interventions for promoting recovery from stroke, spinal cord injury, and other neurological disorders and diseases in humans. Dr. Taylor has one daughter, Aliyah.
