Rieti Gears Up for the 2023 Chili Pepper Fair.
The Rieti World Chili Pepper Fair, a highly anticipated summer food and wine event, is set to take place from August 30th to September 3rd in central Italy. This year marks the twelfth iteration of the World Chili Pepper Trade Fair, and it is poised to be an exceptional celebration that pays homage to the renowned 'Wizard of Wheat,' Nazareno Strampelli, who conducted most of his research in Rieti. The event is sure to impress with a plethora of activities ranging from food stands, labs, cooking demonstrations, talks, conferences, book launches, shows, and exhibitions to a lively section filled with concerts and performances by distinguished national figures. The Fair's founder, Guglielmo Rositani, had an unconventional idea that has now become a visionary concept embraced by the entire region. The Fair's unique sample exhibition and business meetings generate development opportunities throughout the year, as stated by Livio Rositani, Chairman of the Organizing Committee.
