“National sovereignty, European sovereignty.” Here is a relevant essay to learn more about this. by Gennaro Malgieri, Silvano Moffa.

Sovereignty sparks debate within the financial and political globalization’s crisis. From the fading of what seemed to be the panacea for all evils, a reaction arose some twenty years ago from peoples, political forces, intellectuals who have argued the rule of the “single thought” as the foundation of the globalist liberalism that literally is wiping out cultures and identities.

Gennaro Malgieri and Silvano Moffa in this book introduce some political analysis notes as a contribution to the discussion on sovereignty, a theme that belongs to and substantiates all politically relevant aggregations.

As it is widely known, there has been an extensive discussion into the European Political Thought — EPT — on sovereignty, in trying to give a political theory, a definition which, on balance, has not always been a univocal outcome.

It turns out that an issue arises in this contest, which goes beyond that intent. It is the search for the declination of state sovereignty in its multiple manifestations and no longer merely a defense of national borders.

In the appendix of the book, the manifesto of the European conservative intellectuals is published. It was drawn up in Paris in 2007 to define European culture and identify the threats against it, outlining the characteristics of the “true Europe.
