Crypto at its freezing point, while NFT is struggling with new storytelling — Treasureland October Report
While the BTC price was touching the bottom of $16,000, fear is roaming in the space. The NFT market took a heavy hit, as shown by Opensea’s daily trading volume dropping to that of early 2021, and liquidity seems to dry up even for blue-chip NFTs.
Amid the despair and fear, we see seeds of innovation being planned. The mega launch of the Gobblers and the Y00ts NFT collections are good examples. New mechanism and new technology such as AI drawing has been added to the storytelling of NFT.
When the crypto market winter runs out of its course, it will be a good time for builders. Treasureland will continue to seize the current market situation as an opportunity to consolidate our position as the largest NFT marketplace on BSC.
Here is a summary of what we achieved in the past month.
I. Technical Updates
1. Improved the visual presentation and loading speed of the Treasureland mobile version.
2. Optimized the listing speed of the NFT Collection on Treasureland. Users can see the latest NFT Collection instantly once they go live.
3. Optimized the transaction process to make it more dynamic and clear.
II. Partnerships
Web3 is a multi-faceted space with diverse projects spread across GameFi, SocialFi, Defi, and more. That also translates to different user demographics.
To build a robust NFT trading site, we understand very well the need to synergize across platforms and collaborate to support as many promising projects as possible.
In October, we joined forces with DotBit, GunFire, Genki, and WiNNit.
III. Events
1. October Giveaways
We always have giveaways on our channels where rewards such as WL slots, exclusive NFTs, fantasy boxes, and fiats are raffled out.
You might wonder why we do that, especially because we are in a bear market. The reason is not far-fetched. We believe that small wins should be celebrated with the same enthusiasm we have for big ones.
Crypto winter might be hitting hard across the board, but we shouldn’t fail to seize key moments to organize “Web3 parties”, aye?
In October, we launched giveaways with ChaosCouture, Bonfire, Debox Social, AptosMonkeys, Aptoslaunch, and BNS.
We also collaborated with several projects to create the “Halloween Carnival” series of events to mark the Halloween season.
These projects are SecondLive, BurgerCities, DEGO, GunFire, KeplerHomes, READEMxyz, StarryNift, SillySheepGame, and MiniMinersGame.
The Halloween giveaway ran between October 27th to November 4th and the reward pool totaled up to $20k.
2. T3 Data-Driven NFT Awards Ceremony
Treasureland was announced as one of the syndicate members sponsoring the upcoming data-driven NFT rewards ceremony in Las Vegas, scheduled for November 11th.
Other notable sponsors were Mental College, EtherPOAP, NFTPlay, and Chachaswap.
3. Twitter Space
Treasureland partner project, NameDAO, played host to a Twitter space involving three popular projects — Assure Pro, DotBit, and Arvinc Bit.
The topic for the discourse was “Multichain: A Product Strategy or a Necessity?”.
Special NFTs and 3 DotBit accounts were also airdropped to some lucky participants.
IV. New NFT Listings
The following collections are now tradable on Treasureland.
- HotCross — A multi-chain infra and Web3 playground created for both Blockchain teams and communities.
- Project Oasis — A gamified Metaverse built on the BNB chain where users can gather to play games, socialize, and perform Defi activities.
