Treasureland Weekly Recap (Dec 8 — Dec 15)
The year is fast drawing to an end. But alas, what a memorable year 2021 has been. However, despite the bumpy ride, we have been able to hit the milestone we set out to achieve when Treasureland launched.
Once again, this week’s publication is a brief synopsis covering new partnerships, upcoming events, Christmas-themed community giveaways, and the technical improvements we have made to our website.
Partnership & Events
1. Treasureland put to paper a strategic partnership with Chainswap, a cross-chain asset bridge and application hub for smart contracts — December 9
2. Treasureland hosted a giveaway campaign for partner project, Wolf Safe People — December 10
3. Treasureland interviewed the talented NFT artist, Niq.eth, in a Zoom meeting. Niq is a member of Weir_DAO. He also owns charity-focused virtual game projects, Luckmask and LuckyCot which recently trended — December 10
4. Also, NFT cards from the Crypto Kombat collections became available for sale on Treasureland — December 10.
5. Treasureland launched dedicated telegram groups for the Turkish and Dutch demographics of its community — December 14.
Technical updates
1. Treasureland now on IoTeX chain
Treasureland was successfully integrated on the IoTex chain.
Building on that, both Treasureland and the IoTeX team will proactively join forces to push the growth of the NFT sector through interchain NFT transactions, NFT mint, and other use cases.
Users can now start trading native IoTeX NFTs on the Treasureland marketplace.
2. Automated Indexing of New/Old NFT collections
Our team completed the deployment of a new feature to enable the auto-inclusion of new and existing NFT collections on-chain data scanning.
That means, Treasureland will automatically scan through blockchain networks for active NFT smart contract addresses and integrate them in a hands-free way.
Thus, that will allow users to purchase the latest and most popular NFTs Treasureland without searching through the large databases of NFT marketplaces.
3. Optimized Web Feature — Event Banner
We applied some refining touches to our website’s event feature. The new version displays countdowns and schedules for upcoming activities.
We also adjusted the banner size to make it more appealing to users.
4. Treasureland V3 On the Way
Come to the end of December, Treasureland will revamp and launch a third version of the marketplace. The new version will differ from the previous in more than just UI; we are making complete-scale changes to the website.
In addition to ETH, BNB, MATIC and DEGO, we will support adding other more currencies as acceptable payment methods.
We will also rebuild the existing filter bar, update the NFT collections interface and other whole-scale changes to improve the experience for NFT creators, artists and collectors.
