As we know, December welcomed us with exciting annual reports. As a separate article, I shared our annual newsletter showing all the developments and milestones achieved over the past year.
In this month’s newsletter, I have some great content to share with you. First, including a look at how the mobile gaming industry is performing financially and what we have planned for the future. Here we will summarize some of the key achievements from the annual reports.

❗️PUBG Mobile’s version 2.4 update has a collaboration with Bruce Lee!
Just a few days before the release of PUBG Mobile’s version 2.4 update, and Krafton has released a preview of it, with the announcement of a major collaboration. Battle Royale will introduce the most iconic martial arts legend, Bruce Lee, in partnership with The Bruce Lee Family Company.
PubG Mobile often makes a name for itself with collaborations like this! In 2023, it seems that we will see new add-ons for PubG mobile frequently.
❗️Rollic was among the Apple Store’s best free games of 2022 in two titles!
Rollic Games, along with its subsidiary Popcore Games, made Apple’s list of best free games.
One of the games, “Text or Die”, also ranks 5th in trivia games. The second is “Fill the Fridge”, which falls under the category of simulation.
Another game, “Parking Jam,” also made the list. The game, published by Rollic’s Germany-based subsidiary Popcore Games, holds the №1 in the table games category.
❗️Hypercasual developer TapNation reaches 750 million downloads in its catalog
French hypercasual developer TapNation reported that they have surpassed a significant milestone, collecting more than 750 million downloads in their hypercasual game catalog. The announcement was posted on the LinkedIn pages on Thursday last week and marks an impressive achievement for the small studio.
❗️Marvel Snap has been downloaded over 30 million times!
According to Mobidictum, the collectible card game Marvel Snap has surpassed 30 million downloads in just two and a half months, with an average of 400,000 downloads per day in the PC, Android and iOS markets.
Marvel Snap has quickly become a juggernaut among mobile gaming, winning the award for best mobile gaming at the 2022 Game Awards in December.
❗️Traffic Cop 3D, Kwalee’s hypercasual game where you chase traffic criminals, has surpassed four million downloads
Kwalee has announced an epic milestone for the hypercasual game Traffic Cop 3D, where you follow traffic criminals through the streets. The game surpassed four million downloads in just two weeks, topping the number one iOS app categories in the US, UK and Canada.
❗️Fingersoft’s 10. At a birthday celebration, it was announced that Hill Climb Racing 3 is currently in development!
Fingersoft has announced that its upcoming game, Hill Climb Racing 3, is currently in development. While there aren’t many details about the famous mobile game, we do know that the company is working on it at its Oulu and Helsinki offices.
Impressively, the original Hill Climb Racing game garnered more than 220 million new players in 2021 alone. Considering the interesting gameplay of the series, it is possible to say that it is constantly getting stronger.
