Viva Tech is Europe’s biggest startup and tech event to ignite positive change in business and for society. On June 15–18, 2022, totally 91,000 in-person visitors discovered the innovations and attend the live conferences at the Porte de Versailles expo venue in Paris.
Huawei Developer Group in VivaTech
The Huawei Developer Group (HDG) France is a partner of Viva Tech this year. Attendees not only to got the latest knowledge about HMS core, ML kit and also 3D/Modeling kit, but also had chance to get some cool gadgets at our booth.
To enable more developers to understand and join the Huawei Developer Community, develop apps based on the HMS Core kits, release on the Huawei AppGallery, expand and enrich the HMS developer ecosystem, and provide more convenient and optimal user experience for end users.
Huawei Booth
In a 300 m2 space, Huawei showcased its solutions to support the digital transformation of society and the economy. The Huawei booth was be divided into three themed zones:
- “Smart Office”: Huawei presented its office products designed to create a connected high performance work environment. This included especially the two-in-one convertible tablet-PC MateBook E, the all-in-one desktop computer MateStation X, equipped with a sound system designed in collaboration with Devialet, and the digital notebook MatePad Paper.
- The “Green Tech” space presented photovoltaic equipment and solutions: These put digital expertise at the service of companies and individuals undergoing energy transition. Huawei also showcased FusionCharge, its latest home fast charging solution for electric vehicles.
- “Open Innovation”: In order to support the entrepreneurial ecosystem, Huawei hosted 40 start-ups on its stand during the 4 days of the exhibition: 22 French companies — including 17 winners of our French Tech start-up support program Digital InPulse — and 18 non-French companies, including ones who participated in the Huawei SPARK program.
Two Huawei advocators from Developer Technical Support Engineer team and Huawei developer project manager showcased Huawei mobile services and capabilities to 800+ developers, Zhenyan Zhang gave onsite presentation with the topic of Building an Intelligent World with Developers, while Miguel Montesinos Santander gave speech about Building a brand-new visual experience and interactivity, which was both onsite and online streaming.
Summary
Huawei is proud to support innovators and entrepreneurs with various programs. We support developers through expert networks, Developer Groups, and the HUAWEI Women Developers Program to empower women developers.
In France, Huawei created the Digital InPulse program to accompany innovative startups in their international development. Since 2014, have helped 80 French startups in their approach of the Asian market and tech ecosystem.
Thousands of attendees visited Huawei stand at Viva Tech to discovered innovative solutions, talked to experts and developers, learnt more about how Huawei works with startups, and met some of ecosystem partners!
