Aline Isoz, the Swiss digital woman
Aline Isoz is a digital communication and strategy specialist with more than 15 years experience. She is also the founder of BlackSwan, a strategy management and branding company.
Expert in the digital world, she regularly supports companies and institutions in managing their digital transformation and communication challenges. She works closely with marketing and HR departments as well as executive and advisory boards. She is also a well-known blogger, activist and columnist on digital issues for two Swiss media, Le Temps and Bilan.
Team leader of the Swiss delegation at La Journée de la Femme Digitale in January 2016 in Paris, Aline Isoz was also nominated for Digital Woman of the Year at the Le Meilleur du Web Awards 2015 in recognition of her work in digital within Western Switzerland.
Aline will be one of the four panelists of Ladies First, an initiative gathering female entrepreneurs and leaders who aim to connect, inspire and share best practices.

Digital transformation is about admitting that the rules have changed: tools have generated new uses, new ways of doing business, of creating value, innovative business models. Digital transformation is reshaping the world by mixing the best of men and machines.
Is Switzerland a digital country?
Switzerland has everything to be a digital country: we are used to collaboration and co-creation, we have a lot of well educated people and pioneers, too. And we can count on all the equipment required… We are just missing one thing: the right to dare to try, and to assume to fail.
Is it difficult to be a “digital woman” in Switzerland?
It’s easier to be a digital woman than to be “just” a woman: it gives a competitive advantage on non-digital men, but it doesn’t prevent from feeling illegitimate or lacking in self-confidence…
