Event promotion isn’t just limited to pre-event promotion strategies, nowadays, pre-event, during event and post-event promotion; requires an event organiser’s attention. There are many useful event marketing strategies that prove worth applying post-event. Post-event engagement is a crucial part of the event planning and event management process.

1. Networking event –

With the tech development in the events industry, event networking platform is a recent and an incredible development. One of the prime reasons for attending a corporate event, meeting, trade show or an exhibition is to network with other attendees, event organisers, speakers, and influencers.

Post-event networking is an amazing idea for the attendees to keep in touch and meet even after the event is over. Post-event engagement should be in motion not just to keep the discussions going or to maintain the hype but to encourage the building connections as well. It also gives you an opportunity to mingle with the attendees who might otherwise prefer a competitive brand than yours!

2. Send post-event emails –

Active after Concluding! Don’t let your attendees forget the amazing experience, send e-mails and newsletters asking for feedback and follow-ups.

A thank you mail is also a good gesture to show people that you are happy that they attended the event and were a part of it.

You can also conduct a post-event survey, asking feedback or certain questions, that you might require enhancing their experience next time they visit.

3. Conduct a social media quiz or contest –

Social Media is one of the strongest tools in the hands of the customers today. There are several social media platforms with sundry opportunities where you can gather the event attendees and make them promote your event through interesting activities.

Attendees always look for fun factor even if it is a corporate and professional event. Event Planners can keep small winnings for those who answer the quiz questions correctly or win a contest.

4. Provide event related offer/s

Attractive offers. Coupons, prizes etc. prove to be a boon for promoting the events. Providing incentives like early bird discounts; buy 1 get 1 free, ask a friend and win a cash prize and so on creates a trend for promotion amongst the attendees.

To win a certain amount of cash prize they’ll invite their friends, spread word across the social media and hence, many people get to know about your event.

5. Share content on social media with images and videos –

Sharing is caring and also a popular and one of the most recommended post-event promotion ideas. Social Media is the king of sharing content in both graphical and text format. Use of social media for different types of promotions can really be useful.

For example, Instagram can be used to create short videos to put in stories, for Facebook a picture album may be useful and for twitter a mix of both with a short and captivating tweet!
