First hike to mirador Cuernos.
And here is a condor, with a nice view on the lake from the top (very blue water due to glacier residues)
It is extremely windy at the top! and a very inquisitive Caracara (from the Falcon family) at the campsite, he loves pecking at the rubber from our car window!
Camp fire for baked potatoes and s'mores!
And let's go for the long day hike to the mirador de los Torres: slightly longer and tougher than the one in El Chalten
Yeah, we made it!
The windy pass on the way was indeed extremely windy… as a lot of the rest of the hike! Raphael was even thrown to the ground a couple of times 😞 … and a new record for the day: 51 000 steps!
Next day: even windier hike to the Lago Grey, with glacier in the distance and lots of beautiful icebergs floating on the lake
It is so windy the kids can lean back and we have to protect ourselves from the gravel thrown at us by gusts of wind!
