White water rafting in Omis, Dubrovnik, and then a bit of Istria on the way back… we loved it and could have stayed longer !

#vanlife!
Omis and the Cetina river, where we're going rafting: first time for the kids!
On the way to Dubrovnik, the coastal road is unbelievably scenic!
Everything is dazzling in Dubrovnik… the water,
the streets, and it is almost empty… we are really lucky!
Apolline is vloging at Pile gate!
Large Onofrio's fountain (left)
One of the many cloisters… and a very complicated mechanism for a Renaissance safety box
The Jesuit staircase and St Ignacio's church
A Game of Thrones' fan in the middle!
White streets, red roofs
The city walls are completely intact… unheard of! Great to walk around the city that way
Our beautiful view at the campsite
with the village beach at the bottom of the stairs
A very cool hotel where we meet Olivier's friends from Amsterdam who are holidaying in Croatia at the same time as we are!
The Iron throne!
The cute island of Lokrum
Al fresco diner for our last night in Dubrovnik
Korcula town on Korcula island
The beautiful St James' cathedral in Sibenik
Oops, after breaking one of the rear lights at a campsite in an encounter with an olive tree, we damage a car in a parking lot… this motor home is proving expensive 😖
Krka national park, not as spectacular as Plitvice… but you can swim near the waterfall!
A Serbian orthodox church and monastery near the park
Last stop: the beautiful hilltop city of Motovun in Istria, where you eat everything with truffles… yum!
