Rohingya Villages still attend humanitarian aid since the last wave of destruction 820 buildings in Rakhine State, Burma.

This November, thousands of people in the northern part of the state have been left with no access to health services and food supply by the Burmese military. As result, approximately 22 000 Muslims have been forced to flee to Bangladesh since that period.

Despite the official visit of Kofi Annan, the former head of the United Nations, and the call of 14 governments to Burmese government to allow full resumption of aid to Rakhine State, the crisis continues.

The main ethnic group living in the affected buildings is Rohingya, a Muslim minority that has been initially permitted to self-identify as “Rohingya” in 2014 but has been officially refused any citizenship by the local Buddhist authorities in 2015.
