Proofreading & Editorial Policies

HDP editors will not make any substantive alterations to stories submitted by authors not directly affiliated with HDP. Affiliated authors’ submissions are subject to much more thorough and comprehensive proofreading and fact-checking standards than stories submitted by Medium writers at large.

Rest assured that if we have requested your story for publication on our platform, your piece will remain in its original form as published by its author (you) until the end of time. If you are an author with authorization to submit stories to HDP, as granted by Medium’s publication management and story submission systems, your stories will also remain unaltered.
