How we are creating the first Human Data Income and why HUDI is different

In the last decade, thanks to artificial intelligence and mechanical engineering, we witnessed incredible technological advancements that are allowing the automation of an increasing number of jobs.

In the upcoming 15 years, jobs like:

secretaries, drivers, cashiers, store sales assistants, managers, qualified nurses, salespeople, elementary school teachers, cleaners and many other jobs

are expected to disappear.

What will happen to all those who will lose their jobs?

First of all, new jobs that we can’t even imagine will have been invented. These new jobs, however, will require very advanced technical skills.

Therefore, it’s probable that many workers will not be able to find new jobs easily and will have to “start from scratch”, in order to specialize and find a new job.

Hopefully, in the upcoming decades, even those who have lost their jobs will be able to receive money in order to live.

How?

The idea is called “Universal Basic Income” (UBI): a sort of monthly income for all individuals, regardless of their social condition or their job, which allows them to cover the basic expenses needed to lead a dignified life.

However, not all countries can support a UBI in the exact same way and under the same conditions. It is therefore necessary to find an alternative solution.

So, what could it be?

The only solution that could generate a sustainable Universal Basic Income is one based on a resource that generates profits already owned by people.

What is the resource that meets all of these requirements?

DATA: the trail of information we leave behind every time we surf the Internet.

Our data is collected and traded by big companies every day, creating a market worth $1+ Trillion per year.

It’s our data but we, the legitimate owners, are missing out on the profits. We keep giving away our data for free, in a continuous loop of unfair transactions where disparity grows as the time goes on.

This is HUDI’s big challenge: to combine the concept of UBI with the data universe, and facilitate human development in a healthy and profitable way.

HUDI was born from the concept of Universal Basic Income, and aspires to become a source of income for its users created from the monetization of personal data.

Inside the HUDI ecosystem, users can collect and sell their data via their profile, in a totally anonymous and transparent way: you decide if, how and to whom you want to make your data available, obtaining a reward in crypto in return.
