Earth,
That’s what they call it,
Spinning with all its
Grace.

Earth,
Far in the Greater Community,
They saw it.
“Wow, a wondrous find!”

“Turn the ship!”
To Earth,
Blue
And Lovely.

Earth,
Shining beneath.
“There, I see!
Look!”

And we dive
Through the clouds.
“What have we found!
O’ my mates!”

Earth,
Oceans blue, mountains high,
Water so rare,
Green everywhere!

Earth!
“Do you see?
Humans
Like one of us!”

Sentient.
“Ah! I feel the
Cloud of their
Mind!”

Earth!
“I smell it,
One like us,
Devouring them all.”

Ah!
What shall we do now?
“Stay?”
“Return?”

Shall we tell the elders?
“Okay!”
“Let’s go!
A wonderful news!”

Earth!
“We found it,
Spinning like the wind,
Blue like a gem.”

“Wow! My boys!
Good find.
Keep it secret.
Is there mind?”

“Yes!
Sentient ones,
Devouring the planet,
Depleting soon!”

“Let’s go!
Keep it secret.
We need them!
To get the leaves out.”

Earth!
“Let’s go down there,
A hundred of you,
Discreet you will be.”

“Manipulate,
Desperate them.
Let them fight,
But keep the life.”

“At the brink of death,
Shall we go
As saviors
To help them out.”

“Slaves shall they be,
Desperate,
Seeking us
To help them out.”

“We need them
To work for us
Indigenous
Native tribes.”

“And all the leaves,
And life and blood,
For us
To trade to stars.”

“So, go!
My little boys,
Change their mind,
Use your means.”

“If humanity were well versed in Greater Community affairs, you would resist any visitation to your world unless a mutual agreement had been established previously. You would know enough not to allow your world to be so vulnerable.”
