Dropping down to bottom
Searing into spine
Tearing up false treaties
Breaking down your shrine

Drifting on awakened sorrow
(You had a hand in this)
Now I tumble down the stairs
Into basement bliss

Never ever did I ever
Breathe the sands of time
Never saw it coming
(Your reality as mine)

But someone left a light on
A part of me untamed
She turned that little flicker
Into what I see as flame

Burned by imagination
Idealizations (really)
I push off from bottom
At peace with gravity

What once had pulled me
Down to dusk (and out of relevance)
Was a wish to be part of
(Not forgotten — now evidenced)
