Psychedelics are making a comeback in a big way.

Not as counterculture escapism (well maybe a bit of that too) but as a legitimate tool for healing, transformation, and mental health support.

With research from institutions like Johns Hopkins, MAPS, and Imperial College London showing more than just promising results for psilocybin-assisted therapy (one of a whole host of psychedelic assisted therapy options), many people are turning to the shroom for healing.

While psilocybin has proven therapeutic potential, set and setting (your mindset and environment- before, during, and after) play a foundational role in shaping the experience. Without careful planning, a solo journey can quickly become overwhelming, disorienting, or even dangerous.

For individuals who have already chosen to explore psilocybin, working with a psilocybin-informed counsellor may provide ethical harm reduction and integration support.

So what does it mean to be a psilocybin-informed counsellor?
