Coach Spotlight | Michele Cohen
HumanQ: What is one ingredient in your Coaching “secret sauce” that makes you unique?
Michele: I have been told that I am a great listener. This allows me to zone in on the important details that they may not even hear themselves say so that I can help my Coachees focus strategically.
HumanQ: Should a Coach have their own Coach? Why or why not?
Michele: Absolutely! I jump at any chance I have to be coached. It is a great opportunity to gain insight about yourself.
HumanQ: What is the most powerful question a leader can ask someone they are Coaching?
Michele: The most powerful question is a moment of silence. A pause to hold space is an extremely powerful tool.
HumanQ: What do you think stops us from being our best selves and living our best lives?
Michele: As humans we tend to get in our own way a lot. Our lived experiences, whether good or bad, leave their mark and turn into new learnings that sometimes help us and sometimes hold us back. Being open and curious to new experiences are good places to start breaking-out of self-limiting thoughts and behaviors.
HumanQ: If you had a Magic Coach Wand and could help someone develop a new way of thinking overnight, what would it be?
Michele: Always lead with curiosity! It is the number one most effective way to break barriers and lead with impact.
