Darkness is notoriously ignored.
No one wants to accept it,
No one is brave enough to explore.
The endless pain comes from within;
The only relief seems to come through a pen.

Writing the words that you feel is fine;
But never does it cure the darkness.
For life is but a fleetly day,
A combination of moments;
A circle of life you can not delay.

Your mind is palace laced with finery,
But the darkness remains divine.
The only way to sway your mind,
Is to embrace the darkness in your own time;
Events have passed and formed your scars.

But you are not held fast by its proverbial bars;
For the darkness is not evil or kind.
It is a part of your identity,
Your flesh.
Your mind.
Acceptance is the path to choose;
