People ask me how I feel about people who ‘want to change the world’, and I say ‘well not great actually’ because ISIS wants to change the world. My view is that you should want to change your world, so all the people you come in touch with or want to come in touch with — can you make them feel better?

The best entrepreneurs have boundless ambition but they get very specific about what they’re doing. If you want to change the world, you can often cause a lot of damage, but people who want to change their world and focus on one group of people can then measure it. You want to do something with poor kids? Which kids in which school in which area? Show me them. Then let’s see them in five years and see what it looks like.
