There are barriers, but they are more mental barriers. The way to start is to just do something.

I’ve always been driven by doing stuff. Originally it was: “I can start a business and make it take off”. Now, as I enter the social space, I still feel like I can make things happen. That’s the same driver. But now the thought process is: “if I am going to be creating, of course I should create things that help people”. I can bring my entrepreneurial ‘let’s just try this out’ approach to the social world as well, and that’s exciting.
