I don’t know about you, but I am a sucker for letters — I love both writing and receiving them. So, let’s have some fun with them, shall we?

Through this special writing exercise, I hope to engage the Humans of the Hive and Hope to Harvest the Honey out of those Happening Heads.

Before we move ahead, let’s give a round of applause to our (t)h(r)iving community — our hive is 11 writers strong today! Shout out to the most active writer Kaz_DHD, who also volunteered to be an editor here. A big thanks to Kerry Purvis, who responded to some of our Monthly Prompts, and Kasi Greenwood, who was the first writer to publish here. I’m grateful for our newest writers, Michael Keegan and Molly Miller, who shared their stories with us (Go check them out here!). I also want to thank all the writers who showed interest in joining this hive: Gray Miller, Shamiha Said, Kevin Baugh, Emma Johnson, and Brian "BrAiN" Lauterbach. I’m looking forward to seeing the bees in your head!

So, coming back to this fun writing activity, here is how you can participate:

  1. Respond to this article confirming that you would participate.
  2. The first person who responds will get a letter from me. And…
