Coming to terms with my ADHD was no easy task.

Sometimes, I’m not quite sure how I did it.

All I know is that we’re getting along quite well. On top of that, I don’t wish I could get rid of my ADHD if that option were ever posed to me. Once I made friends with my condition, life got infinitely better. I learned how to be myself, attract the type of people I wanted to be around and accomplish things that deeply mattered to me.

I also learned how to help others do the same.

While the condition isn’t all sunshine and rainbows and isn’t without its struggles, there are a few things that I wouldn’t change about myself. There are some things that once I made friends with my ADHD, I couldn’t dare part with:

The overwhelming amount of ideas I have

They’re not always great ideas, but they’re usually pretty fun. And life needs more of that into adulthood. I take great pride in never having to “grow up.”
