humble is joining forces with HITLAB to break down barriers to success for entrepreneurs in women’s health by becoming an Impact Partner for the 2019 HITLAB World Cup: Women’s Health Tech Challenge.

The HITLAB World Cup is an open innovation challenge which calls on innovators, entrepreneurs, and startups proposing tech-enabled solutions. This year the focus is on discovering and supporting solutions that fulfill or mitigate the unmet needs of women.

Pitch Day will take place on May 21 at SAP Hudson Yards. Five finalist teams will pitch to a live panel of judges for a chance to win prizes. Judges include, Nisa Amoils (Republic), Priscilla Beal (Bayer), Osnat Benari (WeWork Labs), Adam Dakin (Dreamit Ventures), Cynthia Isaac, (Syneos Health), Kate Merton (Johnson & Johnson), Sumit Nagpal (Comcast NBC Universal), and Deborah Zajac (Touchdown Ventures).

Each team will receive 1:1 mentorship with two subject matter experts prior to pitch day. The event will feature an Innovation Hub, powered by Merck Global Health Innovation Fund, where startups will have the chance to meet experts in a genius bar format and interact first-hand with emerging technologies.
