Applications are now open for the first cohort of GrowHU — Howard University’s growth-focused accelerator program, sponsored by Fiserv and powered by humble ventures.

GrowHU builds on the progress we made through our previous partnership initiative in 2021 — the PitchHU incubator program. We have launched two PitchHU incubator cohorts and supported 40+ early-stage businesses and their founders while awarding $80K in non-dilutive funding to eight winners across both cohorts.

The GrowHU accelerator aims to connect Howard University and the broader HBCU community through a growth-focused accelerator for diverse entrepreneurs looking to scale their businesses.

This program is designed to facilitate growth for your business by providing key sales and marketing support to companies that have found a repeatable sales process and are generating either $10K of monthly recurring revenue or close to $1 million in lifetime sales.

If you are looking for executive-level support in marketing, digital commerce, customer acquisition, and more, apply today at GrowHU.com!

GrowHU accelerator applications will be accepted through October 7th, 2022. Participation in this virtual program is free.

Applications will be reviewed in batches against the GrowHU requirements. Applications will be selected for the cohort by Tuesday, October 11th, which will launch the following week. Selected applicants will be invited to join a 10-week virtual cohort, with both asynchronous and synchronous instruction from experts across Howard University, Fiserv and humble ventures.

At the end of the program, GrowHU will host a public Demo Day on Friday, December 9, bringing together channel partners, investors, and other interested parties to experience cohort participant progress and understand how GrowHU can invest in their continued success.
