humble ventures is launching a cohort this fall for 8–12 weeks, focused on diverse founders and founders creating solutions for diverse audiences. We are looking for companies that have found Product/Market Fit, and are looking to scale by selling to large, established enterprises.

Product/Market Fit is defined as “being in a good market with a product that can satisfy that market.” We want to see customer validation that you’re solving a problem that exists. Achieving Product/Market Fit is required as a prior condition before scaling a startup into becoming a successful business. After Product/Market Fit, it’s about scaling to meet increasing demand with superior distribution capability that can reach all of your customers.

In some cases, having a better distribution channel with an inferior product than your competitors can enable you to get your product to the world faster, capturing customer demand. And if you can quickly iterate, you can convert that customer demand into loyalty and, ultimately, advocacy.

humble will vertically integrate startups by leveraging our network of enterprise partners across the ecosystem, including Ogilvy Consulting. In 2015, we formed a partnership with Ogilvy Consulting, “the global strategy and innovation arm of the world’s greatest creative group, The Ogilvy Group,” and part of media conglomerate WPP, to deliver innovation consulting to their Fortune 100 clients and amplify their startup deal flow.

We are offering a no-fee/no-equity virtual sales and marketing bootcamp where we will help five select companies build and test enterprise sales strategies. After the cohort, in partnership with Republic, we will kickstart an equity crowdfunding campaign for one winner with our own investment of up to $25K.
