At Humble, our guiding principle has always been to foster transparency and trust with our users. One of the most effective ways to accomplish that is by laying bare the very code that powers our platform. Today, we are thrilled to announce that all of Humble’s contracts, user interface, and underlying technologies are now open source and publicly available on our GitHub repository. This includes completed, yet to be released V3 swap & pool contracts. With this move, this gurantees the longevity of our protocol, regardless if there is a team or not.

The Importance of Going Open Source

Security Through Visibility

Open sourcing the platform serves as a dual-purpose tool. First, it ensures a greater level of security by allowing the community to examine, audit, and validate the robustness of our code. No longer does one have to rely on third-party audits alone; the code is out there for anyone to review. This crowd-sourced form of security scrutiny not only reinforces the safety measures we have in place but also allows for continuous, community-led improvements.

Community Collaboration

Secondly, open-sourcing turns Humble into a community-driven platform, catalyzing innovation at a much faster rate than a closed system. The contributions from developers around the world can be directly integrated into the Humble platform, making it more flexible, adaptable, and feature-rich. By tapping into the collective expertise of the global developer community, we believe that Humble will evolve into a trading platform that is not just for the community but also by the community.

The Power of Accountability

Having our entire platform open source also holds us accountable to our users. Any changes or updates will be visible to the public, ensuring that our operations remain transparent. This level of visibility encourages us to uphold the highest standards of integrity and to consistently deliver on our promises to our users.

An Invitation to Contribute

Going open source is an invitation to developers, partners, and users to actively participate in the continual refinement of Humble. Your insights, expertise, and contributions are now part of this collective journey towards creating a decentralized trading platform that sets new standards in transparency, security, and user engagement.

The Journey Ahead

While this is a significant milestone, it is just the beginning. We look forward to the constructive scrutiny, invaluable contributions, and the broader conversations that this move will undoubtedly spark in the DeFi community. We have so many exciting features and surprises coming, be sure to stay tuned!

We want to extend our deepest gratitude to our devoted user community. These markets have been thought but your trust and support have brought us to this pivotal moment, and we are excited about the many years to come.
