The word “encanto’ means “charm” in Spanish, in both senses of the English translation. A ‘charm’ can be a magical spell but ‘charm’ can also mean charisma. Encanto is also the title of Walt Disney’s newest animated feature, their 60th, and it lives up to all the definitions: the movie is enchanting and engaging and I was enthralled.
