The new dark comedy Palm Springs is currently streaming on Hulu. It's pretty funny for a movie where characters hunt one another in one scene and purposefully walk into traffic the next.

In Palm Springs, Andy Samberg and Cristin Milioti play a pair of selfish losers cursed to spend eternity together in hell, which is two hours east of Los Angeles. Samberg is hilarious as a goofy sad sack whose girlfriend is cheating on him but Milioti is a real star as the unhappy, and morose, sister of a happy bride. The movie asks the question: “What would you do with, literally, all the time in the world?”

It’s worth watching, even if the plot is familiar. Palm Springs is basically Groundhog Day meets a romantic-comedy.

It’s a cinematic formula that has produced a number of entertaining movies and TV shows, like Happy Death Day, which is Groundhog Day meets horror.
