We here at Hungry Fan are all about tailgating. And while we tend to prefer the traditional, non-luxury parking-lot based approach, we couldn’t help but dig what’s happening this coming football season at the University of Kentucky.

If luxury pre-gaming is your thing and if you find yourself at Commonwealth Stadium, then maybe you should consider renting one of the new 1865 Club luxury tailgating suites. Each suite can accommodate up to 30 guests and features approximately 300 feet of indoor entertainment space, complete with a kitchen, four high-definition televisions, heat and air, a full-size refrigerator, and half-bath. The suites are located outside the southwest corner of Commonwealth Stadium in the green space adjacent to the President’s Pavilion and will also include outdoor entertainment space with a television and exterior awning. We’d say you could use that green space for grilling…but the suite actually comes with standard tailgating food and drinks (i.e. hot dogs, burgers and soft drinks) with no setup necessary. Additional and premium food and drink (think booze and beer) are extra.

The space is yours for up to 12 hours. With a sweet suite like this, we think going 12 hours is a piece of cake! Only catch: the suite doesn’t come with tickets to the game. So maybe get those first.
