In the next few weeks we will be heading into an intense month of sports. Get ready to batten down the hatches, secure your spot at the couch, and stock your fridge with your favorite fan food. This is where we separate the true fans from the fair weather spectators!

Here’s what you have to look forward to:

January 19, 2013

NFL Conference Championships

3:00pm ET
New England Patriots at Denver Broncos

Superstars Tom Brady and Peyton Manning face off in what promises to be a remarkable game. Truth be told, this is really the one I’m looking forward to most. Brady and the Pats have been pretty sensational as of late. Peyton and the Broncos had an amazing (and historic) start to this season but have lost a bit of steam since. Do they have what it takes to overcome New England come gameday?

6:30pm ET
San Francisco 49ers at Seattle Seahawks

If San Francisco can survive the deafening, earthquaking roar of the Seattle crowd, they may have a chance. Colin Kaepernick is on fire, having settled into the season after a slow start, but Seattle looks really good. Who’’ll get the W?
