How to Make Your Own Whipped Cream

Please, pleaaase do not feel compelled to buy whipped cream. It is so, SO easy to make, it would be a crime to buy it, especially given all the preservatives manufacturers have to add to make sure your whipped cream will still be fresh in that can until 2034. Here is how you make your own:

Ingredients

2 cups of organic heavy whipping cream (must be cold)
4 tablespoons of confectioners sugar
1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract

Preparation

Combine the ingredients in a mixing bowl with high sides.

Whip until desired consistency with a whisk or hand-held mixer. (I recommend the electronic mixer just because the whisking process can be a bit tiring and the mixer is just so much faster).

That’s it! That’s all it takes!!! No more cans of Reddi-Wip for you!
