Here’s a total run-down of some of our top picks for new tasty (and often INSANE) concessions this year:

  1. Turner Field (Atlanta Braves): The Burgerizza

What is it? Oh you know, just 20 ounces of grilled beef patty covered with five slices of cheddar cheese and bacon sandwiched between two eight-inch pizzas!

This heart attack will cost ya $26.

2. Minute Maid Park (Houston Astros): Sweet Potato Waffle Chicken Sandwich

For $10, you can get this grilled chicken breast sandwiched between two homemade waffles with sweet potato purée mixed in the batter. That’s got grand slam written all over it. It comes topped with Greek yogurt, baby spinach and sliced tomatoes.

(Sold at Urban Bistro, Section 226).

3. Chase Field (Arizona Diamondbacks): Cheeseburger Dog

Just in case a plain hot dog or plain cheeseburger (individually) wasn’t enough to whet your appetite, the folks at Chase Field have done you a favor and combined them! Meet the Cheeseburger Dog, made from a char-grilled hamburger, deep-fried and served with bacon, lettuce, tomato a house-made secret sauce. This dish’ll cost ya $10.

(Sold at Big Dawgs on the main concourse and Extreme Dogs on the club level).

4. Globe Life Park (Texas Rangers): Wicked Pig

This Pig-A-Palooza is a combination of pulled pork, bacon, sausage, prosciutto, ham and pork rinds all stacked on a Hawaiian bun and doused in barbecue sauce and topped with coleslaw and pork rinds. (There’s also a third bun in the middle for those who want to unstack it and tackle it as two sandwiches). If you think you can take it, this puppy’ll cost ya $27.

(Sold in the 557 Smokehouse in section 49).

5. Busch Stadium (St. Louis Cardinals): The Hill Meatball Cone

You’re looking at four meatballs in Italian marinara sauce with parmesan and mozzarella cheese, all served in a cone made out of Italian bread! The cone is tasty and also makes for a great container — it’s now a heck of a lot easier to carry this tasty treat around the concourse without dropping meatballs all over the place. Yet even with a cone to assist you, definitely grab a fork to eat those meatballs. And also be ready to fork over $15.

(Sold in Section 152).

6. Kauffman Stadium (Kansas City Royals): The Champions Alley Dog

Hot off a World Series win, the Royals have added this crazy creation to the menu this year. It’s a cheese-stuffed, tempura-battered cheddar bacon burger with sweet slaw, chipotle ketchup and fried pickle on a Farm to Market roll. This burger will set you back $19.

(Sold in Section 206).

7. Marlins Park (Miami Marlins): The Taco Dog

Is it a taco? Is it a hot dog? It’s both! You’re looking at a footlong frank topped with chili con carne, Monterey Jack cheese, cilantro, shaved cabbage, pickled red onions, jalapeño-lime aioli and fresh salsa, wrapped in a tortilla. (And we think the tortilla helps keep everything in the hot dog and off your lap waaaay better than a traditional hot dog bun).

(Sold at Miami Mex in Section 5).

8. Citi Field (New York Mets): Tomahawk Rib Chop

If you’ve got $154 and you’re a carnivore, then this may be the game day dish for you. Available from Pat LaFrieda, this is 38 ounces of beeeeeeef. It’s also the most expensive dish available at Citi Field…

9. Minute Maid Park (Houston Astros): Irish Nachos

When you think of Houston, your first thought may not be Irish. But hey, don’t let that stop you. These Irish Nachos are composed of kettle chips topped with jalapeño queso, picadillo ground beef and assorted nacho toppings. This’ll cost you $11.50.

(Sold at Sections 126 and 409 and at the Urban Bistro in Section 226).

10. Turner Field (Atlanta Braves): The Punisher

So, yet another heart attack but it definitely deserves a mention. The Punisher is composed of country-fried smoked rib meat slathered in a Monster Energy-infused BBQ sauce, topped a fresh cut beer-battered onion ring and “slawsa” (slaw and salsa fell in love and had a baby…), all tucked between a toasted and buttered Hawaiian bun and pinned in place with two slices of candied bacon. This sandwich will cost you $18.
