The Hungry Fan App is here!

I’m so excited to share with you the latest project I have been working on! This week the Hungry Fan officially launched in the App Store; the only app for sports fans and stadium goers to find, discover and explore menus and locations for all food sold at stadiums and arenas in the US.

As you may have noticed, the days of only being able to find hot dogs, hamburgers, and chicken fingers at a live event are long gone. As stadiums and arenas have improved their food concession offerings to include foods as diverse as sushi, Mexican food, and BBQ, but there has never been an easy way to find exactly what you are looking for. And as more stadium goers than ever are gluten-free, kosher, vegan, or have other dietary restrictions, they need to find the foods that fit into their lifestyle.

Have you ever had “eater’s remorse”, when you would walk back to your seat with food, only to see someone walking by with something you really wanted? Simply by opening the Hungry Fan app on an iPhone, you can see which foods are available at any stadium, where you can find each concession, filter by nearly any criteria from “salads” to “fried” to “gluten-free”, leave comments, and of course, share with it with your friends.

Now, we put all of the stadium food information in one place, making it easier to find the food you want to eat, so you can get back to your seat. We are adding new stadiums and arenas daily, and menus will be frequently updated as changes are made to facilities. As we continue to develop, the Hungry Fan will be coming to other mobile operating systems soon.

After only being online for a few days, fans are already love it. One iTunes review gave it a five star review, calling it the “most innovative app since Shazam”:

“Simple, clean and extremely useful. I get to watch more of the game and avoid walking all the way around the arena to scope out my options.”
