Top 5 Outrageous, Delicious, Awesome Ballpark Foods
(#HungryFanFood)

We know you’re counting the days until baseball season. (We are too). In fact, we’re only hours away! So we here at Hungry Fan decided to share with you our top picks for the craziest, awesome-est, most delicious ballpark foods! It’s no longer enough for us to order plain old nachos or boring fries at a baseball game. And today’s MLB ballparks are seriously stepping up their game and delivering gourmet, larger-than-life food to fans that visit. Batter Up!

#5 Progressive Field — Cleveland Indians

Burger

Introducing Dynomite Burger, one of the new gourmet restaurants being added to Progressive Field this season. Dynomite Burger is a take-out burger joint in Playhouse Square, Cleveland, Ohio owned by Zack Bruell. Possibly the coolest-named burgers at a baseball stadium…and they’re like crazy gourmet. Our favorite? The Parallax — a juicy, delicious burger topped with bacon and chipotle mayonnaise. Yum!

#4 Nationals Park — Washington Nationals

Ribs

Finger lickin’ good! You CANNOT leave the Washington Nationals’ Nationals Park without trying the amazingly awesome Kansas City Spare Ribs by Blue Smoke Barbecue. A New York spot, Blue Smoke now brings to DC the taste of high-end barbecue reminiscent of soulful Southern and featuring smoked meats, fresh produce, and thoughtfully sourced ingredients.

#3 Tropicana Field — Tampa Bay Rays

Tampa Bay

#3 is not for the faint of heart. Only the hungriest of Hungry Fans can handle the $30–4 lb.-bacon cheeseburger AND a pound of fries! The “Fan vs. Food” challenge awards Rays Fans who can finish this yummy monstrosity with 2 free season tickets! The good news is you’re allowed to share the dish with friends — and there’s definitely plenty to go around.

#2 U.S. Cellular Field — Chicago White Sox

Being a White Sox fan is synonymous with being an ice cream fan. But not just any icce cream cone will do. At U.S. Cellular Field you can order a 3 lb.-12 scoop-Banana Split Sundae and it arrives in a FULL SIZE batting helmet (for the low price of $17). You scream I scream…am I right?

Sundae

#1 Miller Park — Milwaukee Brewers

Miller Park

Finally, #1 might give you a heart attack. But isn’t that what we love about ballpark food? Listen to this: it’s a bratwurst cut in half stuffed with a grilled hot dog on a pretzel bun, all wrapped in bacon, topped with sauerkraut AND grilled onions — there’s no wonder they call it The Beast!

Is your mouth watering, yet? You don’t have to wait long to taste these crazy ballpark foods — baseball season starts today! Find all these stadium eats and more baseball stadium food on the Hungry Fan App, which you can download for free HERE.
