When you think Thanksgiving weekend your mind goes to COLLEGE FOOTBALL. But this year sports fans of every sport can look forward to a Friday through Sunday chock full o’ televised competition. With so many events happening I wanted to make it easy for you to find all of the schedules you need. Here is what to expect this weekend and where you can catch all of the action:

Friday, November 28th
Times in EST.

16 NCAA Football games

Starting at 11:00 am with Northern Illinois at Western Michigan going all the way through to 8:30pm with East Carolina at Tulsa.

No NFL games today — it is all about the college matchups!

12 NBA games
At 1pm you can catch two of the biggest markets tip off with the Bulls heading to Boston to take on the Celtics. The final game for the day starts at 10:30pm with another fan favorite the Lakers hosting the Timberwolves.

11 NHL games
An age old rivalry takes advantage of the holiday with the starting game seeing the Rangers head to Philly for game one of a back-to-back ‘home and home’ against the Flyers. 9 games in between with the puck dropping between the Oilers & Blues at 8pm.

Saturday, November 29th
Times in EST.

42 NCAA Football games
You read that correctly: 42 GAMES! Is your PVR, DVR, Hopper, and everything in between set? Or are you more of a 4 TVs in one room kind of fan? You’ve got your sweat pants, your jersey and your game face on and are ready to take it all in! One of the most notable games of today is the Iron Bowl happening at prime time between No. 15 Auburn at No. 1 Alabama. Will the Crimson Tide take this expected victory or will Toomer’s Corner be TP-ed like every Auburn fan hopes!

No NFL games today — there isn’t even any room!

6 NBA games
If you’re both an NBA fan & college football buff you’ll have the chance to flip back and fourth for a few hours with 2 games at 7pm, two games at 7:30pm and 2 games at 9pm.

12 NHL games
Though college football will be taking over most televisions today there are still 20 US-based teams hitting the ice on Saturday. Starting with the 2nd portion of a home and home matchup between the Rangers & Flyers at 1pm, ending things off with an interstate showdown between the Ducks & Sharks at 10:30pm.

Sunday, November 30th
Times in EST.

No NCAA Football games today — disappointing, I know but it’s time for the NFL!

12 NFL Games
Week 13 brings us some nail biters. We’ve got 9 teams all starting at 1pm meaning they should be wrapped up in plenty of time for turkey. 2 kick offs are happening between 4–4:30pm and finally the Broncos visit the Chiefs for the final 8:30pm game.

8 NBA Games
The NBA got it right with only starting one game at 1pm when the Spurs are visiting the Celtics. Spread out throughout the day you’ll find 6 other tipoffs with the Raptors at the Lakers being the final game of this crazy Thanksgiving weekend for pro basketball.

1 NHL Game
Detroit fans can be happy to know that the Wings are hosting the Canucks at the Joe in an early afternoon face off starting at 2pm. Other than that this is a rest day for everyone — including us after all of that pumpkin pie!
