Every fall, there’s a ten-day vegan festival called the “Je Festival” where many markets, restaurants, convenience stores, and food stalls serve vegan food.

Businesses participating in the festival will decorate their stores with bright-colored yellow flags with the word “vegetarian” on them in red, Thai, or Chinese characters.
