Most of the professional hunters who are now popular among us they started their hunting with small game. And the easiest hunting that most hunter thinks is rabbit hunting. If you are new in hunting or want to start hunting then you should go first with rabbit hunting. So, for beginners, here are some tips on how to prepare themselves for rabbit hunting.

Obey the law:
The first thing that every hunter should do whether they are professional or newbie is to renew their license. If a person doesn't have his hunting license then he should get the license first.

know about the hunting season:
Successful hunting basically depends on the season. Before you start going to the location you should know about the hunting season. For rabbit hunting most hunter prefer summer. But in some region like California, you will find rabbit all over the year.

Tracking the rabbit:
For tracking rabbit, you have to know where they eat and live. Basically, rabbits live in Tall grass, Clover, Broad, leaf fields, Soy, wheat, and alfalfa, Gardens. For the beginner, the best thing would be to ask local hunter who can give some information about the place for hunting.

Get the appropriate gears:
Most rabbit hunters usually prefer a 22-hunting rifle to get the perfect shot. Some people also use a bow for rabbit hunting which is also the good choice if they are expert in bow hunting. You should use any powerful bullet that overshot the rabbit. Keep the bullet size as small as you can.

Hunt at the right time:
Rabbits don’t prefer to come out from their home during the middle of the day so you can either hunt at the morning after the sunrise or in the evening before the sunset.
