A big thank you to all those who were able to attend August 26th’s unveiling of The Point’s Artists in Residency performances and installations! Held at The Point’s Riverside Campus for the Arts and Environment, the artists — Isabella Garbani, Mariposa Fernandez, and Roy Secord — each shared their creative pieces inspired by the community’s experiences and hopes in a changing climate.

Contact Carey Clark at The Point to schedule a time to view the installations before they move to their new homes in the neighborhood (to be announced soon)! Stay tuned for an upcoming Connection Story that will dive into the details behind the artist’s creative processes for developing art for Hunts Point.
