Some of these young men were disadvantaged and Troop 145 was not really recognized by the Boy Scouts of America. The Charter instructions were inaccessible to the leaders is what some say in Florence. Yet, all balanced out, which is especially apparent by the quality of their lives as evident today.

Mr. Alexander Roach Jr., taught them well by instilling within them, a positive outlook on life. Teaching them not what can hold them back, rather what can catapult them further into greatness.
