Women’s contributions exist throughout history
We all live caught up in the idea that the female doesn’t perform their duty, ultimately they are deprived of their due rights. Nevertheless, it’s not merely factual. The truth is that women always contribute, and perform their duty well in the domain of their permit. History reveals that women perform their responsibilities in the context of social culture.
Women play their roles in the social settings they exhibited.
For the sake of convenience, we divide woman’s roles in history
Going back to hunting and gathering society, man remains most of the time outside, engaged in hunting and providing a meal. Women look after children and cave, manage the household, and take care of the residence. They perform social and cultural roles instead of providing financial support.
When society transforms into an agrarian, women start cultivating fields while the man remains the same. Female harvest crops, both for appetite as well for textile. They remain dominant figures in society independent of basic needs food, shelter, and attire.
Next, followed by the dormant stage, the Medieval era named as the dark ages due to less availability of opportunities. They are restricted to houses where they perform menial jobs but still perform their responsibilities to take care of household affairs.
Now, the industrial revolution emerges with more job opportunities, so they want a labor force, of women to begin joining the industry. So they provided financial support to the family.
Instead of a bulk of opportunities, they are still deprived. They were not allowed in the domain of sapience but labor.
Now this era of the postindustrial, some societies welcome communism, some socialism.
They demanded an egalitarian society in spite of gender, equal rights and equal responsibilities. Man must withdraw his privileges in order that both may enjoy equal rights, opportunities and duties. Equity and equality without gender discrimination.
