Hustle For The Holidays
Happy Holidays to all of our amazing clients and partners! We’ve had a wonderful 2018 working side-by-side with you to build personal relationships and impact with your supporters, donors, members, and customers.
As the year comes to a close, we wanted to offer some tips on how to use Hustle to reach people you’ve engaged over the year with a heartfelt seasonal message. Your members, supporters, customers and donors will appreciate the gesture and may even be more likely to engage after the holidays when you text them again. Here are some ways you can use Hustle for the Holidays!
Use Hustle to send well-wishes to your members/supporters:
Hustle is an easy way to get a lot of personalized messages out the door. Take this opportunity to wish your supporters a “Happy Holidays” or “Seasons Greetings” via text message. They’ll appreciate the outreach that doesn’t include an ask to show up to a meeting or donate money. After weeks of receiving a lot of texts and being inundated with other messages, people could be feeling a little fatigued. Use this opportunity to engage with people that doesn’t include an event invite or reminder to do something — it’s just a heartfelt Happy Holidays!
Text your holiday cards as an image or GIF:
Hustle allows you to add images to your text messages (additional MMS fees may apply). You can enable this feature and send holiday cards/fliers or holiday GIFs to your constituents, supporters, members, and donors. Send invitations to your upcoming holiday event or party:
Are you having a gathering to celebrate the holidays? You can use Hustle to invite members, donors, and supporters to your event or party! You’ll be able to reach everyone quickly and collect RSVP’s from those who say yes. With a ton of emails this holiday season, you can cut through the noise and make sure your invite doesn’t get lost by using Hustle. Also, with our “Invite to Event” goal type, you’ll be able to send out reminders just a few days before your event as a friendly reminder.
Send a sincere Thank You and Happy New Year to your donors
Hustle is a great way to engage with donors from recent fundraising activities — like the Giving Tuesday! Use this opportunity to use Hustle and send a sincere “Thank You” and wish them a “Happy New Year!” They’ll appreciate the personal touch and back-and-forth engagement that doesn’t include donation requests.
