In response to those affected by Hurricane Florence, Hustle is offering free use of the platform to organizations who are working to assist those impacted from now until October 31st. Both new and existing clients are eligible, so please take a look at the steps below if your organization is doing outreach related to Hurricane Florence.

For those who are new to Hustle, it’s a peer-to-peer text messaging platform that allows you to have one-to-one conversations with your communities at scale. Hustle can be utilized in rapid response situations to help you stay connected with your communities by communicating about urgent updates, shelter locations, coast guard aide, check-ins and fundraising.

If you are new to Hustle and would like to use the platform:

  • Please sign up via this form to see details about getting set up on the platform. Once you have signed up, someone from our team will be in touch shortly with steps to get started!
  • We will be hosting training webinars every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9am PST/12pm EST for those who sign up through the form.

If you are an existing Hustle client, this support also applies to your organization. Please follow these steps:

  • Sign up via this form to see details and let us know that you’ll be using Hustle for outreach.
  • In your existing Hustle organization, please begin each Group with “Florence” so we can make sure to exclude these contacts from your billing invoice.
  • If you need any additional assistance getting set up, please reach out to your dedicated Client Success Manager.

Additionally, here is a link to FEMA’s real-time resources which includes preparedness links, information on shelters and lifeline (available in both English and Spanish).

Connecting with people right now is critical and we’re grateful to have the ability to offer a way to reach people. Our hearts and thoughts are with North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia during this time. Please feel free to reach out to us. We’re here to help.
